Offline analysis is separate from the information used for the website, payment, download access and email support.
Board files and reports
This website accepts no design-file uploads. The documented offline product processes supported EAGLE and KiCad files on your device without sending their contents or generated reports to BoardPort. This does not cover browser extensions, the operating system or unverified environments.
Website and payments
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and download-authorization records and may process IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and access times. BoardPort adds no advertising trackers or product-use analytics.
Optional website measurement records a coarse search, AI or referral category; a fixed landing category; and stages through samples, purchase pages and successful Checkout creation. Checkout creation is not payment. A random 30-minute visit ID is stored as a hash and QA visits are separated. The measurement tables exclude names, email, IP addresses, full URLs, queries, board files, report contents and card data; records expire after 90 days. Use the footer control to turn it off. DNT and GPC are respected.
The international purchase flow records the country and acceptance of the terms presented on this site. Stripe and Link handle payment, billing, email, business and authorized-person names, purchaser type, business-use confirmation and their transaction records. Enter card details with the payment provider; they are not stored in BoardPort’s order database.
Order and download records
For sales records and tax review across Signal & Ship products, the operator records billing country and region, available card-issuing country, amounts, tax, refunds, dates and payment-provider status. Monitoring records use pseudonymous payment references and exclude full addresses, names, email and card numbers.
To verify eligibility, deliver the software and handle refunds or disputes, BoardPort records order status, country, amount, currency, timestamps, purchaser type, accepted terms and displayed language, license and package fingerprints, and pseudonymous identity and payment references. Pseudonymization does not promise anonymity. Plain names, email addresses and stated-use text are not stored in this order database. The payment provider retains its own transaction records.
Keep your private delivery URL confidential. Future downloads can be revoked after a completed full refund or final chargeback, but a file already saved on your device cannot be erased remotely.
Support, retention and requests
Product-support email to support@signalandship.com is forwarded to the operator’s Signal & Ship Gmail mailbox. Information you send is used to answer questions, disclose operator information, verify orders and handle refunds. Do not send design files, card details or secrets.
Records are retained as needed for license access, support, refunds, disputes and legal recordkeeping, with no automatic deletion schedule promised. Cloudflare, Stripe, Link and Google may process information outside Japan. Contact product support for access, correction or deletion requests. Legally required records may not be immediately deletable. Link handles requests concerning its own transaction records.
